button up denim skirt and paisely print top

Oh, the joys of a 70's inspired outfit. I've completely embraced this trend, and bought m'self another skirt and top, both thoroughly 70's. I am obsessed with this mustard yellow paisley print top, I can't stop wearing it. It's meant to be worn as a bardot top, but I broke the rules (that's me, the fashion rebel) and played around a bit. Here I wore it as both a normal scoop neck frill top, and as a bardot top. The denim skirt is another new addition to my wardrobe, and another thing I've fallen head over heels in love with. (I've seen similar ones in Urban Outfitters and Zara, if you're on the hunt for one) It's so practical, amazing quality, and I feel like it's really easy to style. Chuck on a white tee and black biker jacket for a completely different feel with the same skirt. Now that's a good investment.

Have you bought anything 70's lately?

  2. I am quite in love with 70s fashion. It was really such a carefree and spiritual time haha. Your top is simply stunning. x

    1. I know, I love some of the styles, I'm (admittedly unsuccessfully) beginning to try out baby kick flares! I wish I lived through the decade, I would have loved it. Thank you! x

  4. I love how you styled the denim skirt and added some more brightness to it, the pattern is very bizarre but I like it :)

    1. Thank you Dalal! I agree, the pattern is rather unusual, I was a bit unsure when I picked it up in the shop but it's grown on me. xx
