september favourites

For me, September has absolutely flown by. I still can't believe it's October! I am so looking forward to Autumn this year, and I absolutely can't wait until it gets darker quickly, Halloween, Pumpkins, warm baths on cold nights, snuggling up on rainy days, all the leaves turning orange and most of all, hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows. As it is, obviously early(ish, I left my favourites a little late this month) October, that means it's time for favourites.

1                             2                          3                         4                           5 / 5                         6

1. Anybody who knows me well will know my obsession with collars, especially in A/W. I absolutely love this Topshop collar shirt, which is right now in the sale for £3.00! If you are anything like me and share my collar love, I definitely recommend looking through some of Topshop's autumn ranges, if you look hard enough you can find the cutest collar tops. Add a chunky jumper and poke the collar out for the classic Autumn layered collar look.

2. This one is a little random, but lately I've rediscovered my love for Milkyway chocolate, especially the buttons. A friend and I were out shopping, and popped into Superdrug. We saw these as we were paying at the till, and I quickly grabbed a tube as they were only £1. I haven't stopped eating them since!

3. Oh. My. God. I have been absolutely LOVING this bath bubble by I love... cosmetics this month. It smells super sweet, and a little like candy floss (cotton candy for my american/canadian readers). You don't need to pour in too much for mountains of fragranced bubbles, and I love the scent. I know that super super super sweet smells are not everybody's cup of tea, so if you prefer something a little more citrusy I'd look for something else. I know that it has been compared to Lush's Snow Fairy shower gel, so if you like that give this a try.

4. These cute spice jars were a present from Anthropologie. They have chalkboard signs which are useful and they look great. I love the detail on the lid of the jars, and the light blue colour. Though they're meant to be spice jars I keep my rings in them, and I love how they look on my dressing table.

5. Autumny nail colours have definitely been appearing on my nails more often lately. Gone are the pastels, the parma violet purple, the light lemons and the sky blues of the spring and summer, and right now I'm especially loving mustards (sounds weird but looks so nice on your nails!) and deep raspberry reds. These two are called "Costume Ball" by Topshop and "Raspberry 237" by Barry M.

6. This programme is one of my favourites when I feel like a quick, light bit of TV and I'm not watching something on Netflix. In case you've been living under a rock or you don't live in the UK, the Great British Bake Off is a baking competition which is strangely addictive. And absolutely completely thoroughly British. (You can't get more British than the bake off!) Yes, it sounds like the kind of show that you Grandma would like and not you, but don't be deceived. There's more drama than you expect!
