lifesavers for lazy humans

I'm reallyyyyyyy lazy. Waking up at 7, a school day torture, means that in the holidays and on the weekend I will absorb sleep like a sponge and water. An "early morning" is 9, and a lie in is at least 11:30-12. This obviously has its pitfalls, like having approximately 0.0000008 seconds to do my skin, hair, and make up before I go out. I don't know much about any of these, but I do know how to dry a wet manicure in 20 seconds, mostly from experience. Welcome to a badly written bible of cherished morning shortcuts.

First and foremost, I have my all time favourite product ever ever ever in the world. Let me introduce you to the Sally Hansen Insta-Dri top coat. I'm usually too impatient to wait until my nails are completely dry, and end up smudging them or attempting some dodgy nail art; both end up with me taking it all off and vowing to never paint my nails ever again. This is a game changer. You paint you nails as normal, wait 10 seconds and put this over the top. It dries them in about 30 seconds flat. And it actually works. They're solid, and it apparently works as an anti chip top coat too! (Although I can't vouch for it's anti chip-ness, mine still chip ahaha) Completely worth the money, buy it, thank me later.

I know this looks like a weird knobbly bracelet thing (I had no idea how to photograph a hair tie lol), but my quickest lazy hairstyle is a ponytail, with a statement-y band. Looks like you've thought your outfit through and takes about half a minute. This one from Topshop is perfect.

I got this teeny Tarte palette in America, and I love the colours. One lazy technique I've mastered is the perfect quick eyeshadow. Take a concealer/eyeshadow brush, and pat your preferred colour on, just on the outer corner of your upper waterline. I like to use shimmers like "first kiss" in this palette for this, that way you get just a hint of colour and you can still feel like you've made an effort and look fancy...ish

My go to concealer for everything is the stay time seventeen one. I've wanted an eye primer for ages because my eyeshadow seems to disappear before I've even left the house. Unfortunately I'm currently broke and don't plan on spending any money on a luxe primer from Urban Decay, so to save money and time, I use concealer. it stay on like a dreammmmm, and makes all the colours a bit more vivid.

What are your lazy hacks? I need to save sleep!
